As a video marketing business owner, I use WebWave to create and manage my company's website. I switched to WebWave from Wix because I found WebWave's interface to be more user-friendly and the load times to be faster.
WebWave addresses the business problem of creating a professional-looking website without coding knowledge. As a video marketing business owner, it's essential to have a visually appealing website that showcases my services and previous work. WebWave's customizable templates and drag-and-drop features allow me to create a website that meets my needs without having to hire a web developer.
The scope of my use case is focused on creating a website to showcase my business and services. I use WebWave's hosting services and content management system to manage website content and keep it up-to-date with my latest work and services. Additionally, I've used WebWave's SEO tools to optimize my website for search engines, which has helped increase my online visibility and attract more clients.
Overall, WebWave has been a valuable tool for my video marketing business by providing an easy-to-use solution for creating and managing my website. It has helped me save time and money by avoiding the need to hire a web developer while still allowing me to have a professional-looking website.
  • Customizable templates: WebWave offers a variety of pre-designed templates that can be customized to fit your needs. The templates are modern, visually appealing, and cover a wide range of industries and purposes. Users can easily change the layout, fonts, colors, and images to match their branding and style.
  • Drag-and-drop interface: WebWave's drag-and-drop interface is intuitive and straightforward, making it easy to create a website without any coding knowledge. Users can add and arrange elements such as text, images, buttons, and videos by simply dragging them to the desired location on the page.
  • Responsive design: WebWave's templates are designed to be mobile-friendly and responsive, which means they adapt to different screen sizes and devices. This is important because a growing number of users are browsing websites on mobile devices, and having a website that is optimized for mobile devices can improve user experience and search engine rankings.
  • Steep learning curve: even though I'm an advanced Wix user with some knowledge in photoshop (WebWave's editing flow resembles it) it may take some time to take over and do exactly what you intend to.
  • Limited native app integrations: WebWave currently has limited app integrations compared to other website builders. Yes, you can add a custom code but it's too cumbersome to pull off in comparison to Wix.
  • To WebWave's defense - the good documentation makes it easier.
Well suited:
Small businesses and entrepreneurs: WebWave is an excellent option for small businesses and entrepreneurs who need a professional-looking website without spending a lot of time and money. It's easy to use, customizable, and offers fast load times and responsive design.

Less appropriate:
Large e-commerce websites: If you're looking to create a large e-commerce website with a vast number of products and advanced features, WebWave may not be the best option. Its e-commerce functionality is limited compared to other website builders, and it may not be able to accommodate the needs of a large-scale online store.

Also, if you need much coding, you would rather have it with something that is wordpress-based.

Astounding program. It has every one of the capabilities you would require in a site CMS. The customizability is astonishing. What's more, in particular, they give you access to your root, custom urls for websites and pages, and natural dashboard to get to everything with a solitary mouse click. I haven't seen that multitude of highlights in a single no code site builder. In the event that you are searching for an extraordinary CMS that assists you with building a straightforward site or Web based business WebWave is a great decision. It accompanies capacity, email and a free SSL cert. What's more, each month there are new features.

My first contact with WebWave was 10y ago, as free plan subscriber. Then migrated to premium plan and Im still using it - instead of WordPress or Wix. I need a simple website builder but with power to change HTML/JS/CSS when needed. It should be simple and fast. WP was lack of it (before Gutenberg era), Wix was too simple then. Only WebWave meet my expectations.
  • 1st class WYSIWYG - but with code editor when you need it
  • great support (human and docs)
  • great features for agency (billing your customers)
  • well SEO optimized templates code and a lot of integrations with 3rd party apps
  • ecommerce support (you can run your own e-commerce store)
  • mailbox (email) support included
  • more templates for websites categorized by business type
  • more ecommerce functionalities (subscription support, more payment gateways, shipping support)
If you run a company website that needs a simple ecommerce store (simple does not mean ugly or just for 10 products) it should be your first choice. Even if you have no idea about HTML coding or ecommerce workflows. It will fit to your needs. So 95% of companies should use this instead of WP or Wix.
But if you need a complicated website, that need an API "hard-coded" integration, especially with external systems - I would prefer Wordpress/Joomla.

I'm so glad I recently discovered WebWave. It is an amazing website-building platform geared toward designers and creators who enjoy the simplicity of a WYSIWYG editor but with granular control over element placement, layering, and properties. It’s also one of the few builders that include an email address if you subscribe to their Pro plan, as well as provides options for you to export a site and host it elsewhere. Blog and lightweight e-commerce are also included. While the template library is smallish, what is included looks great. Since WebWave is more akin to Photoshop than Wix, the uninitiated should take advantage of building their first few projects from templates to learn the ins and outs. There is a learning curve with this system, but once you get the hang of freehand design, the sky is the limit. It is immensely helpful that WebWave is an established product, so you can count on finding answers in the company’s robust knowledge base, very responsive tech support, and in their active Facebook community.
  • Place elements anywhere on a page
  • Granular control of settings and animations using layers
  • Export your creations and host elsewhere if you choose
  • Site speed is a little sluggish
  • UI is initially overwhelming
  • User must manually adjust layout settings to achieve true responsive design
The WYSIWYG web builder marketspace is saturated, but there are not many solutions out there that eschew table-based design in favor of letting creators build sites where anything goes wherever you want. You’ll likely want to skip this product if you need a plug-and-play solution where everything is automatically responsively. However, if you have an eye for design, love creative control, and like to sweat the details until you have made the perfect website, WebWave is a must buy.

I use WebWave for Landing Pages
  • Drag & Drop
  • Customer Service
  • Landing Pages
  • Forms
  • Runs a little slow
  • Would love for a blog feature
  • Easy interface with LMS and Tribe.so
I run a small business that helps content creators to flourish. As such, it is imperative that I create an experience representing the quality that future clients would expect from me. In the past, I would hire web designers to create a fantastic site - and I'd expected to pay for time, talent, and labor on WordPress. I picked up WebWave to see if I could come up with mock-up sites that I'd give to a web designer. Boy, was I lucky to pick up WebWave. Not only is WebWave the most accessible platform I've ever come across, but I can also create stunning sites without having to hire a team that would create a stunning site at an epic cost. In my business, the money I save equals the money I make. I'm launching my new site in January and will have a few landing pages dropping as I move forward. Kudos WebWave!

As a 100% remote, online business, I entrust WebWave to create and manage my website, which is the most important element of my online presence. Given that I'm not a web developer, I don't have any use for WebWave's extensive agency features. I'm primarily concerned with being able to create/edit web pages and blog posts, whilst also needing the flexibility of being able to add an online store to my website in the future. As someone without any background in web design, I have struggled with previous low/no-code solutions in the past (e.g., Webflow, WordPress, and SiteJet, etc.). WebWave has completely eliminated these issues because it enables me to approach web design in the same manner as design tools such as: Figma, Affinity Designer, Illustrator, and Photoshop, etc. As a result, WebWave's builder is easily the most intuitive that I've had the pleasure of using. The layer-based approach feels a lot more instinctive than the grid-based approach of other platforms, thereby allowing me to realise my designs more efficiently and effectively. In truth, I've never found it easier to create responsive web pages. Some of my favourite features include:
  • Quickly being able to create animations and interactive elements.
  • Easily being able to design and launch responsive landing/web pages, blog posts, forms, and popups.
  • Effortlessly add business elements (online store, multiple payment gateways, and email) to my web page.
Most exciting of all is the fact that WebWave is still in the early stages of its development. That so many well-thought out features have already been launched bodes well for the future of this platform. I'm really happy that I discovered WebWave, as it has already benefitted my life as a remote business owner.
  • WebWave's site builder is the platform's truly innovative feature. I've never come across another service that deploys a layer-based approach in web design, as most of them usually deploy a grid-based system. This is an incredible alteration that ensures WebWave behaves much like a traditional graphic design tool, thereby resulting in an experience that is a lot more intuitive and instinctive. I believe this has the potential to radically change the way people approach no-code web design.
  • WebWave provides automatic, daily backups and a free SSL certificate for every website. This results in excellent security.
  • WebWave's support team is first-class! I had some teething-issues in the beginning, but the support team quickly got me back on track.
  • WebWave's community/forum is an excellent place to vote and request new features. This proves the development team is committed to making WebWave better by listening to their users.
  • I would like to see more scroll-based animations and interactive features to rival Webflow. WebWave is well-equipped in this area, but I believe there is room for expansion. Animation and interactivity is going to feature more heavily as web-design evolves so constant reinvention is needed to stay on the cutting edge.
  • I would like to see more analytical and conversion rate optimisation tools added directly into WebWave, such as: Heatmaps, Site Replay, Conversion Funnels, and Sales Performance.
  • Ability to turn your website into an app for the Apple and Google stores.
If you need a website for your business, WebWave excels. If you are an agency looking to create and host websites for your clients, WebWave excels. I cannot think of an area where WebWave falls short. It is, therefore, easy to recommend it to anyone looking to establish an online presence.

Normally it can be difficult to create, design and edit webpages for clients. Depending on the clients needs, I may need to create their website for them, or they may want to choose and design it themselves. Dealing with different logins and trying to coordinate meetings and a lot of back and forth communication can be a headache. However, Webwave has a client portal where I can design a website on my clients behalf or they can choose and design it themselves. This gives me great flexibility to take on clients with different needs.<br>The website builder itself is fairly intuitive (I still needed to consult their help page). If you have used other builders it shouldn't take too long to start using it. I was able to use their templates and get a website up and running quickly.
  • Client Portal
  • Solid Website builder
  • Great support
  • Regular updates
  • Slow loading time
I have a client who wants to design and edit his own website but was not sure how to start. I was able to give him a login from Webwave and coach him through the whole process. He can login himself and make edits without having to go through me. This allows my client to more quickly make edits and changes while not having to take care of the "details" of hosting a website.

WebWave is an all in one website tool. The builder is really simple. One should be able to bring their site alive in a day. Also, it has blog and Ecom functionality as well. And hosting is included. So it ties up all things together. I intend to use it to make an independent but similar looking website for each project, a sort of linked portfolio. I also have other websites on WordPress. However, I'm looking at WebWave to replace them as it is robust enough. I really like how fast i can edit the website, which is awesome for static websites (the kind i usually need). WordPress can also be fast and easy, but it has a kind of dated UI. Webwave UI isn't the best but i find it faster. Also, no need of a gazillion plugins here!
  • Web designing--super customizable. It's really like a graphic design tool. Anything on the website can be changed the way you want. WordPress doesn't usually allow it, with its fixed rows and columns set up. But here I found out i could do anything.
  • Simple UX--Part of the reason why the builder works so well is the UX. It's simple but does the job, and you don't have to think too hard to find the buttons.
  • Has all features one would need, including ecommerce. I don't plan on using it yet though (my business doesn't require it) but it's nice to have in case the business grows.
  • Some scope for improvement in UX (colors are not very appealing). It is simple to use but design is a little dated. Especially in the builder section, I'd like to see modern design for buttons and maybe gradients also: as this is where visual motivation is also important
  • Some edits take effect only after pressing OK. That should be eliminated as it's an unnecessary addition. It's also kind of annoying to do that again and again, which can add up to a lot as we do so many small tweaks while building the website.
  • Few things (maybe glitches) in design. The rectangle below the footer was uneditable for me. I spent quite some time trying to figure it out so I'm convinced it's a glitch.
  • Website speed should be increased.
Since WebWave has all functionality one would need for a basic website--builder, blog, SEO--one can make any kind of websites one would need. Particularly landing pages. After speed improves, it'd be cool to use it for more robust purposes, like an ecommerce site. Since hosting is included, i think this is suitable for freelancers and portfolio or resume websites also. Although WebWave presents itself as a complete solution for websites, solely because it's new, I'm hesitant to use it for anything big. But that's a personal thing. From what I've seen it really looks like the system can be customized to do whatever you want, it's versatile. Personally I'll be mostly using WebWave for a series of static websites (freelance project portfolios)

I love these tools mainly because of the ease to use and the variety of features added very quickly. it helps me make websites for my clients especially the ones who want a quick solution so they can start selling or blogging. The ability to Blog has e-commerce and SEO-friendly features making for a very smooth experience with this tool. Thank to the different types of templates this would be the best tool to go to when you are trying to start to make a website and give a few quick options to the clients before starting the building process.
  • Blogging
  • E commerce
  • Drag and drop
  • Changes and branding
  • More integrations with other tools as this is still a new SAAS
This is a good option for someone who wants to build a website in a very quick manner even a few days and personalize it without the need to know how to code as you have a lot of options to make eCommerce blogs and CV websites. But this could be limited to what integrations they have in case you want to make a complicated website like with booking and linked information for hotels for example or so.

I use WebWave for website creation with an online store, it's a good alternative to Shopify or Wordpress. The features of the store are still quite limited for now but WebWave is evolving very quickly. But you can create very nice store. They just miss some design features in the checkout for adding multiple languages.
  • Website creation
  • Store creation
  • Many innovative design elements, such as Ken burn effect.
  • Checkout
  • add variation or quantity buttons directly in the builder. These features are available only after clicking on the buy button.
The WebWave builder is really exceptional, it offers a lot of animation possibilities to make your site look professional... personally I'm a fan of Ken Burn Effect. WebWave offers a lot of possibilities:
- Builder with all SEO features
- Store creation, very simple and intuitive with exceptional design possibilities, and adding products is really very simple.
- Creation of a blog very simple, easily integrated.
- Possibility to add different roles in the builder.
- The Agency plan also allows you to make White Label.

It would be nice to have more possibility of theme for the blog, but you can add anything you want in the creation part of the article: images, videos, embed and that's why you can create your own theme.
- Checkout is only available in english for the moment but the developers are very available and listening. I think WebWave is a good alternative to Shopify or Wordpress. Many design possibilities and the builder is quite intuitive. WebWave does not allow you to create a sales tunnel but you can add forms to get contacts from your prospects.

I ran early tests on the platform. Here's the short version. There are numerous nitty-gritty alternatives that can also be cleaned up. If you only need a simple store or lead page builder, this may be a better option. This is preferable to webstarts, in my opinion.
  • It's easy to go to the market, for simple, effective landing pages
  • Easy deployment of lead generation websites
  • Drag and drop builder
  • Easy simple store
  • Even if the page is modified and saved, the published site does not see the changes. It took up to an hour for the changes to take effect.
  • There is no integration of the Google rich schema settings.
  • Loading time is not as fast as many competitors—Gtmetrix performance rating is a maximum of 81 percent, although Google PageSpeed mobile (56 percent) and desktop (56 percent) are faster (91 percent ). Checked with a ready-made theme.
  • The WebWave website IP addresses have been blacklisted for malware. Malwarebytes frequently prevents the loading editor or live test pages. This could be because the backend framework IPs were previously utilized someplace, affecting WebWave in general.
  • Only payment gateway for the store settings is Stripe, which is not available in many countries.
  • Manual VAT/Tax options in the shipping/store page-single/fixed one tax type only.
My recommendation is a 7 out of 10 ( 3 out of 5 stars). There is plenty of space for growth and development. Speed and cache need to be much improved. They will have to work hard to improve usability as well. There are numerous nitty-gritty alternatives that can also be cleaned up. If you only need a simple store or lead page builder, this may be a better option. This is preferable to webstarts in my opinion.

This is a perfect product for clients, even though I know how to create websites from 0, this is a super complete option—easy to deploy and cheaper than other options, and I have used a lot of website builders. But the ones that allow drag and drop doesn't meet the advanced requirements as the one completely built for me. But this option is the most intuitive and complete for an excellent price and also the offer fríendly prices for agencies, so that's an extra point. Everything without complications.
  • animations
  • seo
  • drag and drop
  • wizard feature
  • More integrations
It's well suited for complete websites but fits perfectly for landing pages and when you need to hire designers but not developers. This tool helps to get done projects very easily for eCommerce stores for clients that prefer to manage a subscription instead of the whole web development. Its not that well suited for people that require very specific functions that may require plugins.

As I am an Online Marketer, I always need a very attractive webpage to sell my product. But I very good webpage requires time and technical knowledge to develop. But WebWave has saved my time, effort, and money. As it doesn't require any coding knowledge, it is very easy to develop a blog or online store within just 30 minutes. WebWave has all the necessary features like shopping carts, forms, and SEO Management. So, I have all the elements for my online store in the same place.
  • Drag 'n' Drop website Builder
  • SEO Management
  • Online Store Setting and Article Management
  • It should have more improvement on AMP
  • There should be more templates in templates library.
  • There should be more customizability in block section.
WebWave is excellent for both beginner and expert online store or blog owners who don't need any coding knowledge. Anyone with no coding knowledge can design a webpage without any knowledge just within 30 minutes. Because WebWave requires a very low or no learning curve. Webwave is a website builder that uses a drag-and-drop interface and allows users to create stunning, professional websites without needing any prior experience with coding. The intuitive drag-and-drop interface and clear, step-by-step instructions provided by Webwave make it possible for anyone, regardless of their prior experience with web design and development, to create their own website. To get your new website up and running quickly, Webwave gives you access to hundreds of different readymade templates that you may use. Because each template comes with its own set of unique colors and fonts, you'll have the ability to design a look that is completely distinctive for your company and brand. In addition, you may use the design area to personalize every aspect of your website, from the colors and fonts to the background images and more. The SEO module will assist in ensuring that every page on your website is optimized for search engines such as Google to better index the content of your website. Even if you have no prior experience with putting together websites, you won't have any trouble picking up Webwave's intuitive interface. Your new site can be set up in fewer than five minutes, and you can instantly begin adding material afterward.
  • Drag and Drop designing of website layout
  • SEO settings for optimizing each web page
  • Readymade website templates specially prepared for various niches
  • Integration with external tools through plugins
  • More SEO optimization settings
  • More modern UI
My opinion is that Webwave is an excellent choice for the presentation of portfolios for photographers, videographers, and designers, as well as for the selling of digital products, eCommerce websites, blog content, and premium features that are protected behind a membership system, and educational websites. Although Webwave does not yet have the same compatibility with a wide variety of plugins or the same blog-friendly structure as WordPress, I am confident that it will ultimately reach that point given the current speed of development. Additionally, a larger user base will increase the community base and popularity of the product.

WebWave is easy to use and allows me to zero in on every single detail just like I would as a designer in Photoshop, all while remaining within a drag-and-drop editor. Objects can be moved anywhere on the canvas. A website can be designed exactly how you want it to be by positioning and overlapping elements precisely. I can create animations using animated themes such as fly, fade, expand, fold, and reveal. As a freelancer, I am always on the lookout for a good website builder which is simple to use so that I do not need to code the website from the start and at the same time it should support a code insert ability, so I can code some customized features myself. And the last but not the list the solution needs to be affordable as well. For me, WebWave is solving this problem quite effectively.
  • Drag and Drop Builder
  • Support to add Custom Code
  • Superious design
  • Lots of Templates
  • Would like to see a bit simplified UI of the builder. But it's not a deal-breaker.
  • Would love to see more integrations like webhooks. Again not a deal-breaker for me but it would take the product to a whole other level.
WebWave seems to be best suited if you want to get started with your website pretty quickly irrespective of whether you know code or not. Since it also offers functionality to add your own custom HTML/JS, even coders can make use of it to save time to design a site from scratch. There are tons of additional features out of the box like you can create an ecom store with drag and drop builder.

Using WebWave for building websites for our clients. The whole team uses it for every part of the process like designers - design the layout, copywriters - write the copy of the website, and Seo team and IT for various tasks, even clients use it if they want to make minor changes to the website.
The problems that WebWave solves are:
Saves time: cause it's faster than other ways of building websites (though you need time to invest in learning curve)
Lots of features depending on other similar tools.
No coding skills.

We use various tools for building client websites, and our most recent gem is WebWave! It is simple to use and our new recruits and outsourced team members found it easy to learn. So depending on the clients needs, our first choice is WebWave. It's also quite flexible and templates to get the ball rolling are pretty good too. Even our established designers are turning to WebWave for the simple jobs, so that saves them time and we get client design projects completed faster.
  • Saves time
  • Everyone can use it
  • Clients like the designs
  • No coding required
  • More templates
  • More modern designs
  • Payment integration
Great for solo-preneurs, agencies and businesses of all sizes. It is feature rich, easy to use even for non coders, beginners and those where design is not your strength. Everyone can use WebWave. Simple, easy to create and launch in a couple of hours.

We are using WebWave to design a prototype website for the company and client. WebWave has sophisticated tools for building the website, and the drag-and-drop feature makes it easy and intuitive to do so.

The designs are responsive to desktop and mobile, making it very convenient.

Like Lego, we can wrap the elements into a webpage easily and in very little time. It feels great.
  • The UI is a bit complicated but contains all the features and functions needed.
  • No coding skill is required. We can focus on design. And the design process is quite fun.
  • We can adjust and control all the elements of the web easily with WebWave. And I like the richness of the elements available in WebWave.
  • I believe it is possible to further improve the UI to be cleaner and more user friendly
  • There should be more ready-made templates and layouts for elements
  • There should be CDN to accelerate the web hosting
  • WebWave would be well suited for web design agency
  • WebWave is also helpful for companies that want to design websites on their own without significant coding but having high requirements on the design side.
  • WebWave may be less appropriate for those who expect "instant results" web designs.

WebWave has been a great tool for building client websites - fairly easy learning curve and a very intuitive way to build sites. A vast improvement from how we were doing it before (mostly outsourcing it to be coded) - it's helped us improve our turnaround time and provide more real time changes and updates to client sites. We are really happy with the service so far and expect to continue to use it into the future.
  • Easy to learn even with no coding experience
  • Intuitive interface
  • User friendly overall
  • Additional features and plug in support
Great for a small firm who wishes to keep all their web dev in house - we are this firm and it has helped tremendously, especially when building quick projects like landing pages.

WebWave is a good platform for developing websites for clients of a business in the technology sector. Web developers can use it to easily make sites for their clients. I also like how there are lots of clearly understandable instructional videos on Youtube that explain how to use it. The interface is very straightforward and easy to navigate. I highly recommend it for anybody that needs to make a website but doesn’t have a lot of coding knowledge.
  • Ease of use
  • Many applications
  • No coding knowlege required
  • Great for a beginner
  • Nothing that I can think of.
It is well suited for anyone who needs to build a website either fot themselves, their business, or for clients, but does not have coding ability and who needs a very straightforward interface that is user friendly and flexible. I run a web designing business. I have been using a couple of other web builders for the past 3 years. I recently came across WebWave and found it offers more design options and flexibility as compared to the other web builders. Some of the design tools like the option to create transparency in elements, the ability to place logos, graphics, and elements at specific positions are a real boon. It also offers an email solution along with its premium plan, but I have not tried it out yet. However, support materials need to be provided for instructions on some things.
  • Placement of graphics, logos, elements at specific locations on the page.
  • Ability to easily tweak the mobile versions to make them more user-friendly.
  • Transparency option for elements.
  • It offers layering of elements similar to Photoshop, enabling more creative design.
  • It would be great if the shopping cart can offer a couple of product variations.
  • Support materials/videos for instructions like pasting code, changing [the] name of the temporary URL, etc.
WebWave is suitable to make a website for corporate, professionals, artists, etc. If the shopping cart can be worked on to offer a few product variations, it can be used for more online sellers. It is also good for blogs by creative professionals.
