(1-25 of 26)A Promising Website Builder with Room for Improvement
WebWave addresses the business problem of creating a professional-looking website without coding knowledge. As a video marketing business owner, it's essential to have a visually appealing website that showcases my services and previous work. WebWave's customizable templates and drag-and-drop features allow me to create a website that meets my needs without having to hire a web developer.
The scope of my use case is focused on creating a website to showcase my business and services. I use WebWave's hosting services and content management system to manage website content and keep it up-to-date with my latest work and services. Additionally, I've used WebWave's SEO tools to optimize my website for search engines, which has helped increase my online visibility and attract more clients.
Overall, WebWave has been a valuable tool for my video marketing business by providing an easy-to-use solution for creating and managing my website. It has helped me save time and money by avoiding the need to hire a web developer while still allowing me to have a professional-looking website.
- Customizable templates: WebWave offers a variety of pre-designed templates that can be customized to fit your needs. The templates are modern, visually appealing, and cover a wide range of industries and purposes. Users can easily change the layout, fonts, colors, and images to match their branding and style.
- Drag-and-drop interface: WebWave's drag-and-drop interface is intuitive and straightforward, making it easy to create a website without any coding knowledge. Users can add and arrange elements such as text, images, buttons, and videos by simply dragging them to the desired location on the page.
- Responsive design: WebWave's templates are designed to be mobile-friendly and responsive, which means they adapt to different screen sizes and devices. This is important because a growing number of users are browsing websites on mobile devices, and having a website that is optimized for mobile devices can improve user experience and search engine rankings.
- Steep learning curve: even though I'm an advanced Wix user with some knowledge in photoshop (WebWave's editing flow resembles it) it may take some time to take over and do exactly what you intend to.
- Limited native app integrations: WebWave currently has limited app integrations compared to other website builders. Yes, you can add a custom code but it's too cumbersome to pull off in comparison to Wix.
- To WebWave's defense - the good documentation makes it easier.
Small businesses and entrepreneurs: WebWave is an excellent option for small businesses and entrepreneurs who need a professional-looking website without spending a lot of time and money. It's easy to use, customizable, and offers fast load times and responsive design.
Less appropriate:
Large e-commerce websites: If you're looking to create a large e-commerce website with a vast number of products and advanced features, WebWave may not be the best option. Its e-commerce functionality is limited compared to other website builders, and it may not be able to accommodate the needs of a large-scale online store.
Also, if you need much coding, you would rather have it with something that is wordpress-based.
Astounding WebFlow Alternative
- True Drag & Drop
- Ease Of Use
- Best No Code Environmetn
- AI Modeling
Bye bye Wix/Wordpress, hello WebWave!
- 1st class WYSIWYG - but with code editor when you need it
- great support (human and docs)
- great features for agency (billing your customers)
- well SEO optimized templates code and a lot of integrations with 3rd party apps
- ecommerce support (you can run your own e-commerce store)
- mailbox (email) support included
- more templates for websites categorized by business type
- more ecommerce functionalities (subscription support, more payment gateways, shipping support)
But if you need a complicated website, that need an API "hard-coded" integration, especially with external systems - I would prefer Wordpress/Joomla.
Finally, a Web Builder for the Creatives
- Place elements anywhere on a page
- Granular control of settings and animations using layers
- Export your creations and host elsewhere if you choose
- Site speed is a little sluggish
- UI is initially overwhelming
- User must manually adjust layout settings to achieve true responsive design
WebWave is awesome!
- Drag & Drop
- Customer Service
- Landing Pages
- Forms
- Runs a little slow
- Would love for a blog feature
- Easy interface with LMS and Tribe.so
WebSaviour
- Quickly being able to create animations and interactive elements.
- Easily being able to design and launch responsive landing/web pages, blog posts, forms, and popups.
- Effortlessly add business elements (online store, multiple payment gateways, and email) to my web page.
- WebWave's site builder is the platform's truly innovative feature. I've never come across another service that deploys a layer-based approach in web design, as most of them usually deploy a grid-based system. This is an incredible alteration that ensures WebWave behaves much like a traditional graphic design tool, thereby resulting in an experience that is a lot more intuitive and instinctive. I believe this has the potential to radically change the way people approach no-code web design.
- WebWave provides automatic, daily backups and a free SSL certificate for every website. This results in excellent security.
- WebWave's support team is first-class! I had some teething-issues in the beginning, but the support team quickly got me back on track.
- WebWave's community/forum is an excellent place to vote and request new features. This proves the development team is committed to making WebWave better by listening to their users.
- I would like to see more scroll-based animations and interactive features to rival Webflow. WebWave is well-equipped in this area, but I believe there is room for expansion. Animation and interactivity is going to feature more heavily as web-design evolves so constant reinvention is needed to stay on the cutting edge.
- I would like to see more analytical and conversion rate optimisation tools added directly into WebWave, such as: Heatmaps, Site Replay, Conversion Funnels, and Sales Performance.
- Ability to turn your website into an app for the Apple and Google stores.
Designing websites for clients no longer a headache!
- Client Portal
- Solid Website builder
- Great support
- Regular updates
- Slow loading time
Unbelievably simple and super customizable web designer--and includes all other features you might need
- Web designing--super customizable. It's really like a graphic design tool. Anything on the website can be changed the way you want. WordPress doesn't usually allow it, with its fixed rows and columns set up. But here I found out i could do anything.
- Simple UX--Part of the reason why the builder works so well is the UX. It's simple but does the job, and you don't have to think too hard to find the buttons.
- Has all features one would need, including ecommerce. I don't plan on using it yet though (my business doesn't require it) but it's nice to have in case the business grows.
- Some scope for improvement in UX (colors are not very appealing). It is simple to use but design is a little dated. Especially in the builder section, I'd like to see modern design for buttons and maybe gradients also: as this is where visual motivation is also important
- Some edits take effect only after pressing OK. That should be eliminated as it's an unnecessary addition. It's also kind of annoying to do that again and again, which can add up to a lot as we do so many small tweaks while building the website.
- Few things (maybe glitches) in design. The rectangle below the footer was uneditable for me. I spent quite some time trying to figure it out so I'm convinced it's a glitch.
- Website speed should be increased.
The Go to Tool to Make Websites Very Quickly
- Blogging
- E commerce
- Drag and drop
- Changes and branding
- More integrations with other tools as this is still a new SAAS
The WebWave is really exceptional!
- Website creation
- Store creation
- Many innovative design elements, such as Ken burn effect.
- Checkout
- add variation or quantity buttons directly in the builder. These features are available only after clicking on the buy button.
- Builder with all SEO features
- Store creation, very simple and intuitive with exceptional design possibilities, and adding products is really very simple.
- Creation of a blog very simple, easily integrated.
- Possibility to add different roles in the builder.
- The Agency plan also allows you to make White Label.
It would be nice to have more possibility of theme for the blog, but you can add anything you want in the creation part of the article: images, videos, embed and that's why you can create your own theme.
- Checkout is only available in english for the moment but the developers are very available and listening. I think WebWave is a good alternative to Shopify or Wordpress. Many design possibilities and the builder is quite intuitive. WebWave does not allow you to create a sales tunnel but you can add forms to get contacts from your prospects.
- It's easy to go to the market, for simple, effective landing pages
- Easy deployment of lead generation websites
- Drag and drop builder
- Easy simple store
- Even if the page is modified and saved, the published site does not see the changes. It took up to an hour for the changes to take effect.
- There is no integration of the Google rich schema settings.
- Loading time is not as fast as many competitors—Gtmetrix performance rating is a maximum of 81 percent, although Google PageSpeed mobile (56 percent) and desktop (56 percent) are faster (91 percent ). Checked with a ready-made theme.
- The WebWave website IP addresses have been blacklisted for malware. Malwarebytes frequently prevents the loading editor or live test pages. This could be because the backend framework IPs were previously utilized someplace, affecting WebWave in general.
- Only payment gateway for the store settings is Stripe, which is not available in many countries.
- Manual VAT/Tax options in the shipping/store page-single/fixed one tax type only.
Perfect for no developers employers
- animations
- seo
- drag and drop
- wizard feature
